Erik purposed on December 24,2015 and it was nothing less than perfect. We were at my parent's house opening gifts and he told me that I had one more gift to open from him. To my surprise, it was multiple boxes wrapped up inside of each other with clues written on each one. (I never thought I was going to get them all opened!) Finally, I got down to the last box and it said, "God has perfect timing, never early, never late, it takes a little patience and faith, and true love is worth the wait." He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. 

I was in complete shock, I couldn't believe he was finally asking;) I put the perfect ring on (that he picked out) and we celebrated with our family and friends that Christmas weekend. 

It was perfect.
