Please visit: http://www.beaches.com/scuba/
We will meet at 9:00 AM at the watersports center to watch a short video and then we'll head to the pool to practice our skills. Once we're comfortable, we're off to one of the amazing dive sites on a brand new state-of-the-art dive boat! The introductory resort program is perfect if you've never dived before, with all the instruction and equipment you need for dives up to 40 feet. You'll be able to experience a whole new underwater world. For those already certified, you'll be able to enjoy up to two dives a day during your stay at no extra cost. No previous diving experience necessary. The cost is $100. If you are already scuba certified, you do not have to do the course and your scuba diving is free. Please plan about 4 hours hours for this excursion.
If you choose to spend your evening at the resort, plan ahead and take a look at the different dining options to see which of the gourmet restaurants you'd like to try the most, and enjoy a fantastic meal. We also highly reccommend attending the nighlty entertainment which includes steel drum bands, fire-eaters, or even a beach bonfire depending on the night. This was one of our favorite parts about our last stay. The entertaiment is simply amazing.
-Rick's Cafe: Attire is casual: light weight, tropical clothing is best. Wear flat or gym shoes.. Meet at the resort lobby by 3:45PM
If you have the desire to get out and experience Jamaica, we have planned an evening you'll never forget. Please be sure to grab a bite to eatbefore we leave and be ready to hit the road by 3:45! We are going to the world famous Rick's Cafe! http://www.rickscafejamaica.com/
Rick's Cafe has been voted one of the ten best bars in the world, and number 1 for sunsets. Located on a cliffside in Negril, we will watch the sunset from a private cabana with Appleton Rum bottle service while listening to live Reggae music and even do a little cliff jumping! The "cliffs" go from about 10ft up to 35ft. Please plan to be gone for 4-5 hours. If you would like to cliff dive, simply wear your swimsuit, a cover up, and bring a towel!
Sunday: Wedding Time!
Attire is semi-formal for the wedding. Please bring flip flops to change into for the reception as it will be in the sand! Ladies: the ceremony will be in the gardens (in grass) so please plan your footwear accordingly.
-The Wedding begins at 4:00PM!!! Immediately after the ceremony we will be hosting a cocktail reception where you will be entertained by a live traditional Jamaican Mento Band, followed by dinner and dancing! Finally, we have planned an activitity at the end of the evening that we hope you will enjoy. As we know that most people will be flying out in the morning, festivities will be ending at around 10PM. |
