December 25, 2012 Kelvin proposed at our home while we were opening Christmas presents. We opened gifts at about 3:00 in the afternoon, because Kelvin had to work that morning.  So as we opened gifts and Kyah played with her toys I noticed that Kelvin looked a bit nervous, but I really didn't think nothing of it.  So I continued to open gifts and help Kyah. I opened a Pandora charm that was a pillow with a gold wedding set on it, beautiful.  My immediate thought was, ok he is letting me know that the ring is coming but not right now.  I was cool with that!  Then he told me that there is another gift inside the tree for me.  I was so confused... I thought inside the tree??? Ok??? So I stood up looking inside the tree and found a box with a ribbon around it, still not thinking it's a ring. I opened it and to my surprise "IT WAS MY RING!"  I looked up from the ring and he was already on his knee asking me to marry him.  Tears just started flowing and he told me he was ready to spend his life with me!!!  Kyah came over to see what the camotion was and we just picked her up to join us.  WE ARE 4 EVER YOUNG!!!

I had bought the ring about 2 weeks before Christmas, so I had to hide it from her that long.  I really dont think that she was expecting it, i mean, of course she was EXPECTING IT,lol, but I just don't think that she thought that she was gonna get it on Christmas.  When we put the tree up I just hid the box inside the tree on some branches, it was there for a week without her noticing it.  I bought her a Pandora charm that symbolized marriage and let her open that, and she thought that was it. I told her there was one more gift and pointed it out to her, and she opened it.  I wanted to do it properly, so I got one knee and asked her to marry me.
