Alyssa Elliott ~ Maid of Honor ~  Alyssa and I met back in August 2005 during orientation for college at Villa Julie. We began chatting in the lunch line over the pulled pork bbq lol! From then on we began hanging out for lunch and dinner on campus and later became room mates the second semester of our freshman year. From that moment on we became room mates every year. We grew closer being able to finish each others sentences and thoughts. Even after college we remained close traveleing together and hanging out. Alyssa is such a thoughtful, dependable, and fun person. She is not only my best friend snd travel partner but my sister.

Renita Dorsey~ Bridesmaid ~ Renita and I met during a group reading project in 5th grade. We  both ended up becoming dessk helpers and which we sat around the teachers desk (teacher's pets).  I was so excited when I receieved an invite t her hotel sleepover party. We had so much fun playing pranks on others while they slept because we were the last ones to fall asleep. From that moment on we bacame the best on freinds, wherever Renita, Alicia was nearby. Our friendship grew on through middle school and highschool. Around Junior and Senior year and college we drifted apart alittle but our friendship was always there. Around the time she was expecting her first child we beagn to reconnect and continue to grow our relationship into adult hood. Renita is the lighter skin version of me she is funny, kind, and a cry baby like me during emotional moments. I admire her being an excellent mom to her soon and not only a best friend but a sister to me.

Olivia Dow~ Bridesmaid ~ Olivia and i first met when she was born on August 24, 2000. She is the baby girl of our family.  When my sblings and I were first informed that we were going to have a new baby in the family I was not happy. i threatened to move out and go live with my grandparents. This "move out" only lasted a weekend and thanks to my aunt Diana I apologized to my mom for my actions and soon grew excited about her arrival.  The same nurse that delivered me delivered Olivia at the same hospital 13 years apart.We grew closer and closer as I became a second mom to her babysitting her all the time, Fast forward to now as I watch her to continue to grow in her teenage years. Just lke the second mom I am protective and hard on her but still love and spoil her to death.

A. Nicole Jenkins  ~ Bridesmaid~ Aleasia (aka Nicole) and I met during the move in day during grad school in August 2009. We connected prior via email in which future classmates were trying to find a room mate. Nicole and I always studied and walked to and from class together along with our friend Devin. We grew to become good friends and remained room mates throughout our entire grad school career. Nicole is such a generous and caring person she always provided rides for us when we hung out off campus and did not have our cars with us. We provided words of encouragement and support to one another during the rough times of grad school. Even after graduation we keep in touch through phone calls and meet ups when we are in each other's state. I am so grateful to have a good friend like Nicole by my side on my big day.

Devin  Barnes~ Bridesmaid ~ Devin and I met through Nicole on our first day of classes in August 2009. Devin stayed down the hall from nicole and I so we always walked to class, studied, and hung out on whatever free time we had. Devin was also a major person who provides words of encouragement during the tough times in school. We grew closer each year being that our birthdays are a day apart we share similar Taurus qualities such as determination and kindness. Even after grad school we remain in touch through phone calls and visits to NC to participate in the breast cancer walk with her mom amd sister and any year I can. I am so grateful to have a Devin by my side on this big day.

Ryisa Jeffers ~ Bridesmaid ~ Ryisa and I are continuing to grow in our relationship as soon-to- be sister in laws as spend time together at family functions and events. she has been very welcoming of me and expresseds how excited she is for the wedding. I am so excited to have her with me on my wedding day and cannot wait to see how our relatuonship progresses in the years to come.

John Jilek ~ Best Man ~ Is like my brother.  We first met in high school homeroom, even though we didnt know it then we would become best of friends.  We were both on which seemed different paths and a different set of friends except for our homeroom crew.  Then one day in Sociology class our teacher telling us to look up and fill out college application as they more important at this stage.  Sitting accross from John I ask which colleges he's applying for he tells me Villa Julie its a small school in maryland.  To my shock I heard of it, as he ask me I turn mine over showing my application to Villa Julie as well.  Then after a crazy freshman year and having a few classes together we decided to be roommates for sophomore year.  We continued to be roommates through the rest  of undergraduate to graduate school as we moved off campus and entered our careers.  For about 10 years we were roommates.  There are countless stories to be remembered some to be told and other not so much.  As I was by his side when he married his other best friend he will be there as I marry my other best friend.  

Ruben Pinto ~ Groomsman ~ The definition of a gentleman my brother from  another mother.  I met Ruben through John.   The first couple years through the few times in college was meeting and slowly getting to know him.  Then after college when we became neighbors our friendship grow, and each year seem to bring us closer until we was vactioning together in Euroope and he was helping me with my proposal.  Ruben is the guy that will always make sure everyone around him is alright and feeling comfortable, giving you the shirt off his back if he needs too, if your in a bad mood he is the one that will change it around.  He can be the lif e of party or the chilled back guy to have  a deep conversation. 

Jerome Fuller ~ Groomsman ~  The second oldest of my siblings.  Even though i was several years younger then him.  He never made me feel like I wasnt apart of the group.  My oldest memories together are him toted me around with him as he visited his friends and played video games.  Then later on him leaving for the Army and going to visit him while he lived in NC.  He always was a poet in his writing and a person willing to try cook something new as my mom would say his food concoctions. I think i learned that from him as well. As I grew older we stilled played video games and even though he said I cheated because I was able to beat him now.  Then as we had different paths until he came back to Delaware and had his family he still made time to visit and always provided a valuable life lesson.   

Gayln Roman ~ Groomsman ~ My closest cousin on my mothers side, also we are the closets of my cousins in age only being 9 months apart.  I couldn't count the hours we spent playing together from watching cartoons, wrestling or the the latest superhero movie.  Then the countless hours of playing video games.  Even though we may only seen each other a few times a year as he lived in NJ each time was fully packed of fun.   As we grew older the only changes was the conversations included girls and relationship talk.  We will always be big kids at heart.  

Jon Bond ~ Groomsman ~ My cousin on my father side. He is the one that gave me the nickname "apple juice'.  We spent most of time during the holidays and family vacations which was always a blast. 

Curtis ~ Groomsman ~ Alicia's brother whom we gotten to know each other more as we hang out and mini vacations with the family.  I continue to look forward to see our bond grow.
