So, Quentin and I had been talking about marriage for about a year before he finally got the nerve on May 2, 2015.

The day seemed like a regular date night. We went to the Alpha Derby and enjoyed ourselves. Next, we went to dinner. For some reason,  he refused to tell me where we were eating. We pulled up at one of my favorite seafood places... Legal Seafood. Yum! I still had no suspicion because he surprises me from time to time and this was no exception.  He said he wanted dinner to be 'special'. Me, being clueless still had no idea what was about to go down.

Dinner was wonderful. But, he kept ordering drinks and downing then. I asked him was everything ok. He said yeah. I laughed because he don't usually drink that fast. Later, I realized he was nervous lol. When the waitress brought the check, he handed her his phone and asked her to take a picture of us. I'm texting on my phone so I didn't nice him get down on one knee. He started talking about how much I mean to him... and he showed me that ring. I'm like... what is happening here??! The other guests start screaming. I'm confused and excited. He crying... that was funny. To make a long story short, I said Yes!
