Our first date was a spur of the moment meeting, made possible by other plans falling through for both of us. A "quick" drink & appetizer became a wonderful evening and night spent discovering that we had so much in common. The connection was undeniable, and soon we were inseparable. Our kids joke about the terrible job we did keeping our relationship "private" in the beginning.

Since that night, we have marked our anniversary with some big events - we moved in together after 1 year, bought a house and made a home after 2 years, and Gary proposed under the stars in Colorado, nearly on our 3rd anniversary.

A tropical wedding with our kids by our sides is something we both wished for, so we decided to make it happen!

On January 7, 2015, at 3pm, our dream of a wedding on the beach will finally come true!

Taylor, Katie, Hallie and AJ will be by our sides while we exchange our vows and two families will become one.

Simple. Intimate. Beautiful.

Our girls have asked us to let them plan our reception. We can't think of anyone better qualified to plan a party that will be exactly what we want. So...we have agreed to give them (limited) control of the reception planning.

While our wedding will certainly be a small and intimate celebration, we are hoping that all of our family and friends will gather for a casual, fun reception sometime in the summer of 2015.

As Taylor, Katie, and Hallie get the details ironed out, we will happily keep everyone informed, and we look forward to celebrating with everyone.
