What I find endearing in Rick.....

How his mom means the world to him

How he always wants to Defend the defenseless

How he says "she thinks it, I do it"

How he gets teary eyed when he talks about how much he loves me

How I always find something in the sink from his midnight snack he had lol

His warmth, physically and emotionally 

How he prays with me

Serendading me with his guitar

When he smiles

How he likes to build people up 

His love and caring attitude for people

His love for animals

That he loves me with all his heart and shows me everyday

Rick and I met in PA school.  We became friends because he simply cared.  It was in June, the day of my first physiology test.  I finished the test and passed Yaaah and came out to a text message saying Rosie Bumpus, a beautiful 29 year old young lady with a great heart, had passed away from complications of Cystic Fibrosis.  I sat outside eating my lunch and crying.  As my classmates past, they said "it will be ok" assuming I failed my test and kept walking.  Rick was sitting at a picnic table eating.  He says he heard a voice inside tell him to go talk to me and he did.  He came up and said "I dont know what is wrong and dont need to know, but I am here if you need someone"  I burst out and told him what happened.  He asked if he could pray with me and we have been friends ever since, study buddies, pick me up when we are down buddies, go out and have a good time buddies.  About 5 months later, I went thrugh some very tough emotional times and Rick was there for me, picking me up, helping me get through things and letting me cry, and telling me that I would make it throgh PA school because God had a plan for me and I was going to make an amazing PA becaue of my heart.  Neither of us expected to fall for each other, but here we are and yes we did fall for each other.  I feel our love is extra special and extra strong because it was build from friendship, with love, kindness, heart, and God.
