June 3, 2013 with a 40% chance of thunderstorms and Jeff planned to propose to me outside, in his backyard growing up on top of a hill.  My family and close friends surprised me along with Jeff's entire family - all hiding in bedrooms and behind the house with cameras and a video camera.

He finally decided it was time to take a walk up to a landing but to get there we had to walk through grass, and it had already rained some and it was chilly.  I saw some people hiding and realized he's about to do something special...so I joked with him and said, "How about I just stay here because the grass is all wet."  Finally he got me up to the landing, and went down on one knee and the rest is history!
