|   |  |  | As Nicole's sister, Cory has known Nicole all of her life. They grew up together in Northern California to career military parents and have always shared a close sisterly bond "Raiders, YOU KNOW!' In 2009 they became Sorority sisters through membership to Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc, Gamma Chapter, “Fall 09 Fall 09!!” which brought about other close relationships with fellow bridal party members, Angela Homer, Adrienne Sutton, and Erica Walker.
Cory met Preston several years ago when she was invited to his 50th birthday party. He quickly became a part of the family as we united through football rivalries and our love of music. We also like how he treated our sister.
Cory is the mother of two really cool boys, Marshall III and Mason. She supports the FDA leading technology and innovation initiatives as the Deputy Chief Health Informatics Officer within the Office of Information Management and Technology. Additionally, Cory is a graduate student at the George Washington University of Washington, DC pursuing a Master of Science degree. |

 |  |  | Monica and Nicole met in 2008, at the US Department of Agriculture where Nicole worked, and Monica was a consultant. They quickly became a dynamic duo, taking on challenges and at times accomplishing the impossible. When Nicole left the government how could she build a new department without Monica by her side? The two went to Inovalon and built a premier Security and Compliance Program that they continue to run today. What is hard work without a little play? Monica and Nicole have had tons of adventures across the US all the way to the clubs of DC! When Monica met Preston, she knew he was the perfect compliment for Nicole. Not only do they look great together but Preston is Nicole’s rock enabling her to continue to grow and accomplish her goals. Who couldn’t love such a fun, kind hearted man with a great rap :) As Monica increased her focus on Information Technology a nice compliment to her undergrad in Finance, Nicole encouraged Monica to go for her Masters at her alma mater, University of Virginia! In 2013, while working full-time Monica obtained her Masters in Management of Information Technology at the University of Virginia, go Wahoos!! When Monica has a free time, she enjoys shopping, photography and traveling the world! |

 |  |  | Angela met Nicole and her sister/matron of honor Cory in the Summer of 2009 at Panera Bread in Laurel, Maryland. That day they made an instant connection as if they had been “friends since the sandbox” and the months to follow bonded them as friends, line sisters, and sorority sisters. “Fall 09 Fall 09!!” Nicole and Angela even spent time as roommates and it was there they became family. Fun times shared doing housewarming parties, Super Bowl parties, Christmas and Thanksgiving meal competition with brother Doug were times that she treasures the most. During that time Angela got to meet Preston at an event at Quantico, and the rest is shall we say...history.
Angela who is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Go Eagles!! (Sorry Preston) currently lives in Silver Spring, Maryland. She enjoys being active in her church Reid Temple AME in the first aid/health and wellness ministry, being very active in her sorority Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Gamma Chapter as Chapter Journalist/Facebook manager, working as a full time Physical Therapist Assistant at Holy Cross Hospital, as well as being a student at California University of Pennsylvania and pursuing her educational goal to be enrolled in Physician Assistant school by the Fall of 2016.

I am a Commercial Lines Manager who resides in Marietta, Georgia with my 3 boys’ ages 7, 4, and 3. My "ninja turtles” keep me pretty busy these days. I devote most of my time spending quality time with my family, traveling for work, and being a mom to my boys.
I met Nicole back in the 7th grade at Golden West Middle School. We were best friends, who did all the stuff kids in middle through high school do, including getting suspended together!

Erica met Nicole on a job estimate in 2008; during the estimate Erica noticed Nicole’s Project Management Book at struck up a conversation. During that conversation the two discovered they had so much in common and became friends. As a result their daughters also became friends and they started hanging out, Erica later joined IOTA and they became Sorority Sister in 2010.
In 2010 Erica was invited to Preston’s all White Birthday Party and invited Nicole and her sister Cory; that night Preston and Nicole were introduced and have been inseparable every since. Although that night was crazy, Nicole’s car (The Swagger Wagon) was towed at the location where her and Erica met to ride together it marked the beginning of Preston and Nicole long lasting love and romance. #TeamFord
Erica who is originally from Milton Florida lives in Woodbridge Virginia. She enjoys ministry work and extreme couponing (she has a nice stockpile lol). She also helps the homeless and her and her family often work at the local food pantry and make donations to homeless shelters and battered women shelters. |

 |  | | Adrienne met Nicole and her sister/matron of honor Cory in the Summer of 2009 at Panera Bread in Laurel, Maryland. It was there that they gathered to learn more about Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Forever connected as "Sister Sorors" Nicole, Cory, Angela, and Adrienne would always find a reason to share fun times at a favorite spa or hosting a holiday gathering. Their bond grew even further when Adrienne and husband Tyren asked Nicole and Preston to become the God Parents of their daughter Arielle Marie in 2012.
Adrienne loves spending quality time with her devoted husband Tyren B. Sutton, their daughter Arielle, and two bonus children, Zion and Nathan. She grew up in Philadelphia, Pa, received her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, as well as her MBA at The University of Delaware. Currently working as an IT Project Manager in Maryland, she is heavily involved in serving her community as a sixteen year member (and counting) of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Gamma Chapter, Washington, DC, NCNW member, Junior League of Washington, DC member, and member of The Bridge Church in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. |

Dorothy M. Butts-Gordon is the youngest sister to the groom. She is currently the Deputy Director of Community Engagement, Department of Veterans Affairs and owner of FOCUS Group Solutions, LLC. Dorothy is a retired Marine, mother of three handsome young men and wife to her soul mate Lesly, Sr. of 23 years.
Dorothy’s passion is the advancement of people, assisting in every developmental stage of their lives. As a mental health professional, Dorothy’s vision for the Veteran community, her family and career include touching the lives of others “one person at a time”.
During her spare time Dorothy enjoys, finding new ways to relax, decorating and traveling with her husband and children. She also enjoys assisting others in their life passions through mentorship and consultation.
Dorothy’s wish for the new couple is “long life and prosperity through laughter love and kindness”. |
