To give you the short version of my side of the storey: My mother was the manager at Capital One Bank and she came home telling me about this guy she had just hired and thought he would be a good fit for her. Not taking my moms judgement in men, because this wasn't the first time she tried to play match maker for me, I had to do my own investigation on this mysterious guy. So, I did what other curious women would do to find out everything she could about a guy, I looked him up on Facebook! My friend Pricilla and I went on the hunt looking at Rahmell's profile and my mom was actually right for the first time ever, he was good looking. So, I messaged him on Facebook and thats how the story began. We met for the first time, he took me on my first "real" date, treated my son Joel like his own and had his life together. Rahmell and I now have a son together Cameren which made our family complete. It was to my surprise that on September 3rd, 2016 that he would propose to me and ask me to be his wife and couldn't have been any happier. Through good times and bad Rahmell has truly became my best friend and I cannot wait to share the rest of my life with him.

Ok, so this is how it all started: I had just moved back to New York from living in Virginia where I applied to work for Capital One Bank. I was granted the opportunity to interview with the manager of the bank which is where I met Crystal's mom Betsy for the first time. She was the manager at the bank where she had interviewed me for the banker position and was offered the job on the spot. (I think she was playing matchmaker from the beginning.) After getting to know Betsy who always had a pleasant attitude, told me about her daughters, Crystal mainly and Desiree where she showed me their picture. Keeping it professional I didn't want to give off the wrong impression to my new manager that I was checking out her daughter. So after a few weeks went by I receive a Facebook message from my bosses daughter Crystal. In my mind I didn't want to respond because I didn't want to jeopordize my job if things didn't work out with her daughter and myself. But, I was young and care free so I replied. After charming the socks off Crystal we exchanged numbers and the rest is history. Fastforwarding five years later we have two sons together; travel frequently; party together and still enjoy each others company. I am truly blessed to have her in my life as she balances me out and keeps me in check from time to time. She's a wonderful mother and a great friend and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her.
