They met back in 2006, during their Senior Year at Middletown High. Well, it was more of gettin reaquainted. Their two younger brothers, used to be good friends when they were little and remember seeing eachother once awhile they would get picked up or dropped of at the houses. Between having classes togther and being around each other, they ended up as friends. Robert started building a crush on Shavonna but never let it be known. Well, one day during class a couple months before prom season, Shavonna had mentioned to a couple friends that she was interested in asking Robert to prom. (According to her, there really wasn't anyone else to ask, and Robert seemed like a nice guy.) Well of course, her girlfriends couldn't hold it in, even though asked not to say anything and told Robert. (Robert says even before they said something to him, he wanted to ask Shavonna to prom but was too scared because he felt she was way out of his league lol.) Well sure enough, they went to prom together and by far (as you see in the picture, set it off as a prom couple). Well, they both graduated and went thier seperate ways, Shavonna off to SCSU and Robert, well to explore the freedoms a new young adult working at Verizon and becoming a barber.

As the years go by, they befriend either on social media and contact once in awhile until Robert enlisted into the Army. Even between those years though, Shavonna's mom and grandmother told her she should've always kept him around LOL!

Jumping to July 2012, Robert entered a really tragic moment in his life with the lost of his father. Being family friends, Shavonna's family came to help support Robert's family in their time of need. Having not seen or heard from Shavonna in years, they both rekindled a friendship that started right where they left off. Having the kind spirit and warming heart Shavonna has, she invited Robert to get away for a little while and asked him to the movies. Of course Robert accepted. Well the movies turned into Ice Cream, which continued at a local sports bar where they ordered waters and talked for hours.

Unfortunately, Robert had to return to Georgia a few days later. This time they both remained in contact, growing strong feelings towards eachother. Everything pretty much became official when Robert invited Shavonna to visit with him in Georgia for his birthday in October. Ever since then, they both have not been able to stay away from eachother!
