It all happened on my birthday, unknown to me what was about to go down. Chris seemed a bit nervous but was playing it cool (as best as Chris can). He had planned to take us (all 3 girls, my 7 month pregnant self and himself) and meet my parents at the Dutch Apple theatre for dinner and a show. Which is still one of my favorite birthday gifts! Anyway, we sat down at the table and Chris and Kailey were quite adament that I open my birthday gifts (hmm I wonder why). Meanwhile we had been there about 20 minutes and I was impatiently waiting for our waitress so we could go eat (I was starving, I was pregnant). Finally I figured she wasn't coming anytime soon so I started opening the gift that Chris gave me. I opened the box to find a peacock ring holder and around it the perfect (exact one I wanted) rose gold engagement ring adorned with one of my Grandma Ruth's diamonds! I was beaming to say the least! Well of course at that exact moment as Chris opened his mouth to pop the question.. our waitress decides to finally show up and interrupt the enitre thing and instead of apologizing an excusing herself she continues to talk over us. So naturally I gave her the death stare until she walked away (lol). Finally, he asked and I of course said YES!
