If you don’t know, now you will know…

Tashana has to be involved in EVERYTHING.  If she doesn’t have a say, it’s not the right way, LOL!  I've known this young lady for 3 years and from what I have learned this was going to be hard keeping her out of the loop or even throwing her off course.  When you deal with someone that needs detailed information and step by step, you are in for a treat.

The History…

Easter 2014 started it all for the two of us relationship wise, her meeting my son and me meeting her parents happening all around the same time.  The true moment came when we found a church together and have been members ever since. 

That’s where and when I knew that we could make this thing called marriage work.  Planning something around Tashana is almost impossible!  Please, let me remind you Tashana needs to know every single detail and needs to be involved.  For me to pull off the proposal would be like the accomplishment of getting a Doctrine.   

Easter weekend and spring break what better time to coordinate getting her parents out to be a part of this special event, but without Ms. Williams knowing and asking too much.   I’m surprised her parents and I were able to keep this from her.

Proposal Time…

I was able to coordinate with our Pastors, her mom, step dad, my family and church family to be involved.  I did all of this without her knowing or investigating up until the last minute.  Yeah, she had ideas but she blew it off.  If she blows it off there are no worries or questions from her and we are in the clear. 

Its raffle time at our church Easter Festival and one of the “special” raffles was a dinner for two at the restaurant where I work.  So…Tashana just happened to be the winner!...and in front of 200+ people, at a church in Kennedale TX - I asked this young lady to be my wife.

She said Yes!
