Tom and Kara went to Duchesne High School together. They had Spanish with each other junior year and always sat at the same lunch table when it fell during that period. She made fun of him for always laughing at his own jokes and he thought she was loud and outgoing. Kara had a crush on him then but he hsd no idea, of course. It was not until the middle of senior year they got together and bonded instantly with many things in common. He played baseball and everyone knows the Eisenbaths know a thing or too about the sport, and he was impressed.
