I always knew and felt in my heart that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this beautiful, wonderful, caring, loving, amazing, and strong woman. On the night of February 23, 2023, I asked Korto Johnson (Kay) to marry me. It was a cold, snowing night; we were watching a movie in the family room of our newly purchased home. I didn’t know if she wanted family around when I proposed or just the two of us. I was very nervous. I got on my knees, held her hand with the ring in the other, and asked her without hesitation. When she said YES, it was the best yes I had ever heard. Babe, I LOVE YOU, and I will love you forever.
