Our Story

We’ve all heard the saying “Love at first sight,” right?  Well, that’s not exactly our story…  

Brian fell instantly head over heels at first sound, sight unseen.  The sound of a Siren (you know, the ones from Greek mythology that lure sailors to their demise) came from the stage of a karaoke bar while he was in the kitchen making a pizza.  He dropped that pizza, and looked out the kitchen door, thinking he was going to see P!nk singing on his stage.  It wasn’t, but he was not disappointed!  And so began Brian’s quest to win Amber’s heart.

It took a little bit more time for Amber.  She was certainly not in the mindset for another relationship, much less a long-term one. But the walls she had built up crumbled away bit by bit as she got to know Brian more and more.  What started out as a quest for Amber to find a non-smoking place to sing evolved into more fun and love than she ever thought possible.

Fast forward to 3 years later and Brian is down on one knee, proposing to the Witch who put a spell on him so long ago. (It was Halloween and Amber was in full witch costume.) And a year later, they set a date to tie the knot…finally – another year and half in the future.

We can’t wait to celebrate the fun and love with you - our friends and family that have also been a part of our journey!
