It was late fall 2020 when Aruna was opening the bar she was managing in Burlington. After making eyes and "serving" Bryn as a customer - Bryn, over the course of a few weeks finally mustered up the courage to ask her out.

Her reply was, “Finally! YES.”

By Christmas, the two were spending every day together and have been inseparable since. Since then, they’ve been traveling the world and working on their careers to build a future together. You can often find the pair: indulging in food and drinks, catching up with family and friends, sitting by a campfire, and going on long drives together.

On one of their drives, on a visit to Orangeville, Bryn was especially nervous to visit his Grandfather on this one day. When Aruna walked into the room to greet them, Bryn was on one knee with a ring in hand. A few very special words were said, and after tears of joy, moments later he popped the question - and she once again replied - 'Finally. YES!"

Three years later, they’re ready to tie the knot! The future Evans are so excited for their special day and can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends.
