We met on Amy's 21st birthday and it definitely was NOT love at first sight. Over the next year or so we learned to appreciate and respect one another at work and eventually became good friends comiserating with one another about the trials of dating in a small town. We even went on double dates together. Just like the plot of a rom-com, we finally realized the answer was right in front of us the whole time.

According to Larry's Granny, it was 'about time' when Larry proposed at Christmas and we were married on May 21, 2005, weeks after Amy earned her bachelors degree (something she had always promised her dad and herself that she would accomplish before getting married).

We honeymooned in Jamaica and both fell in love with the island and travelling in general. During our 20+ years together, we have been blessed with the opportunity to take a lot of wonderful trips on our own, with friends, with our amazing kids and with both of our extended families. We want to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in one of our favorite places and invite anyone else who would like to splurge on themselves and join us as we celebrate a renewed commitment to each other.

ps..Larry seems to think this renewal at 20 years somehow means he is off the hook after the second round of 20 years. If you happen to see him out and about, feel free to remind him that this is not how it works.
