1. What time is check in and check out at Beaches?
Check-in is at 3:00 pm. If you arrive before check-in, concierge will hold your luggage so you can begin your vacation right away and eat, drink, and soak up the sun. There are changing rooms located in lobby by the check in area. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If your flight departs later, you can leave your luggage with the conceirge and spend as much time as possible on resort.
2. What do we need to pay for while there that is not included in the all-inclusive?
While there shouldn't be any incremental charges if you use any of the resort facilities, having some US Dollars may be handy to tip the airport shuttle driver ($5-10 per group should be ok), if you would like to purchase anything at the gift shop that is on site, utilize the onsite spa, or if you choose to participate in any water sport activities (cash only) that are not offered by Beaches but are available at the adjacent beaches (jetskis, banana boats, parasailing). These are typically offered by locals who are running their own watersport business. Would recommend making sure you agree to the terms of the service (length of rental and the exact cost) prior to payment and agreement.
3. What do we do when we land in Turks and Caicos (Providenciales Airport)?
Upon landing you will exit the plane via stairs (no jetbridges) and there will be cones that guide you to the immigration/customs center. Please remember that you will need a valid US Passport that DOES NOT expire before April 15, 2024 (6 months in advance expiration rule) to enter Turks & Caicos. On your flight down from the US the flight attendants will most likely hand you two slips of paper that each traveling party needs to fill out. One is for immigration and details why you are coming to the island, how long you are staying and where you are staying and the other is for customs to declare anything (would assume nobody has anything to declare for this trip) you are bringing into the country. You will need both of these forms filled out to make it through the immigration and customs. After you pass through immigration and customs you will see the transportation pick up area. The resort will have all guests arrival information and will ensure shuttle vans from Beaches are waiting for you. Please look for a driver holding a big "Beaches" sign and give them your name. From there it is about a 10-15 minute ride to the resort.
4. Where should we eat on the resort?
The resort has 20+ restuarant options to choose from. Please use the link below to explore all of the food options. We would recommend exploring as many of them as you can and you can certainly have as many meals as you want throughout the day! Please note a few of the restaurants, like Kimono's (Hibachi) require reservations. I would recommend booking your reservation as soon as you arrive on site with the front desk. Kimono's is probably the most popular choice on the resort!
