We were scheduled to take a quick vacation to Puerto Rico for Valentine's weekend. But before that we had a Dr's appointment. We were pregnant with our 2nd child together and this was the day we would find out the sex. We found out that it's a BOY!!!!! (JaMari) This was also the day we would announce to our family and friends that we were indeed expecting again. We hadn't told anyone. Well, the Dr. put me on bed rest because of a minor complication so our vacation had to be postponed. It was then that Jamar had decided he would do a simple proposal at the house instead of in Puerto Rico since we wouldn't be going after all. 1st He said, "Let's go to J Alexander to eat some lunch." -This was the place he took me on our very 1st date. Then in the car, he put on a "I love you" mix of all of our favorite love songs. Lastly, he said, "Let's make a quick stop home before we head to your parents to tell them the good news. " So we headed home - we just purchased a beautiful home in August 2013. Once we got there, i proceeded to tidy up a bit as Journi, our daughter, had toys everywhere. I went into our room for something, and when i returned to the living room, there he was.....by the stairs on one knee with a STUNNING Diamond Ring!!!!!!! I was SOOO Surprised. He asked me to MARRY HIM!!!!! I was so elated i said YES, then all i could do was CRY!!! We embraced for a VERY LONG time in the middle of the living room.....just he and I. It was like for just that moment no one else existed!!! It was truely one of the best days of my life :-)
