First and foremost, be sure you have a valid US passport. If you currently have a passport, check the expiration date and if it is before 4/28/18, get it renewed! The passport application process can take up to 2 months but as few as 3 weeks.
Resort Accomodations: When booking your room nights through the Beaches website, travel agent or third party, please be sure to reference our Sebelle/Kane Group Code: WG16101749. Attaching the group code to your reservation is critical, please remember to do it! Most importantly, find the best deal for you! ; sign up for alerts, check the Beaches website for limited-time promotions, use reward points.
Villages: Beaches resort is divided into 4 distinct villages, offering different types of room amenities and settings. Here is some general information to help guide you:
Caribbean: Oldest part of the resort, close to the beach, garden setting. Generally speaking, the most affordable option. http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-caribbean/
French: Located near the entrance to the resort, closest to the waterpark, fitness center and spa, large pool with swim up bar. Slight upgrade from Caribbean. http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-french/
Italian: Center of the resort, many family & kid friendly activities/dining options, main pool with swim up bar, family suites available. http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-italian/
Key West: Newest part of the resort, close to fitness center and newer restaurants. Large suites and villas. Good for groups willing to spend a bit extra. http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-keywest/
As a reminder, here are the recommended arrival/departure dates based on events we have planned that we want you to attend!
Wedding Ceremony: Saturday, April 28, 2018 : Est 5pm - 8pm EST
Suggested Arrival Date: Wednesday, April 25th or Thursday, April 26th
Suggested Departure Date: Sunday, April 29th or Monday, April 30th
Flights: Many carriers offer non-stop flights to Providenciales (airport code PLS). Airport is ~20 minutes from Beaches resort and free transport is included when staying at Beaches. Daily non-stop flights from many east coast cities include:
Newark (EWR), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL). Estimated travel time 4 hours; with stop 6-8.
Miami (MIA). ~ 2 hours
Rental car: In our opinion, not necessary unless you want to leave the resort to explore on your own. Recall, they drive on the LEFT in Turks & Caicos and require an International driver's license (available through AAA).
Cell phones: International plans not required for Turks & Caicos unless you require it. Beaches resort has free wifi that extends throughout the resort (including the beach). If you plan to leave the resort, you may want to get it (Verizon ~$40 added onto monthly plan).
