Joe and I have a very long history together and have somehow just always found comfort in being back in each others lives as the years went by. It began about 15 years ago in Hull MA where I lived and his sister lived. One day I was looking out the window while at my mom's house across the street from where his sister Tammy lived and saw this tall, tanned, very handsome guy standing beside his maroon subaru with a yellow lab(aaawwww CODY) in tow. HMMMMMMM WHO IS THAT? So of course I HAD to go outside to "get something from my car"(haha how convenient).....He said HI and so did I but that was it....this happened a couple times until FINALLY we actually got into a conversation and that was it.....Looking back on that fateful first day now, I think about the fact that something just clicked when I met him....there was just something there.....So we had some fun together but it didn't last long because Joe was leaving to head back to school in Colorado. He was always so carefree it seemed he could have cared less about leaving but I was so sad BUT of course never really let on. I figured he would leave and that would be it. I cried as I heard him drive away in that god awful subaru after he visited me to say goodbye.....I stayed in touch and sent him stuff at school(totally sappy I even sent cookies--which come to find out he loved that I did). Years later he told me how he always loved how I kept in touch and always seemed to do little things to make him feel special----and I NEVER forgot his birthday. And he always reconnected with me every so often usually when I least expected it. Life went on and to be honest over the years we were on and off ALOT....There was even a very long period where we both were off living our own separate lives and we didn't even talk--not on purpose but just because we went different ways. Somehow though even through the years there was a strong bond of friendship that tied us. AND STILL---everytime we saw each other that something just clicked everytime. I would get butterflies just seeing him and he always seemed to be feeling the same way. So after dragging this out for years---Joe being Mr Adventure I'll Never Settle Down and me being busy with raising my son Jay and just living----we finally got it together and realized that what we just belonged together...it was undeniable. I laugh too now because Joe says still that I was the one who seemed to not want anything serious---LOL!!! I felt like a stalker sometimes just trying to get his attention--hahahah just kidding! Anyway I sum us up in these words that I have said to him.........

When I saw you I wanted to meet you,

When I met you I wanted to be with you,

Once I was with you I never wanted you to leave,

And you had my heart from the very first moment I laid eyes on you.

So that's US.......in a nutshell--don't get the impression we had some fairly tale now--we are normal and believe me we have had our hard times and things to get through but to be honest all of it somehow stenghtened the bond instead of breaking it!

So now we can't wait to continue this amazing life together!

When we were thinking about what we wanted for a wedding there was absolutely no doubt in our minds that tropical was it..We both just love the beach....It also was sooooooooooooo important to us to have the family we love there also including the kids so when we stumbled upon Beaches---it was an easy decision. So this is where we begin life as Mr and Mrs Joseph Congelos....Beaches Negril Jamaica in November 2011. I think you will all find something to love about this place and to be honest---all that matters is NOT where we are BUT that we are all insieme----or as the rest of us non italians say--TOGETHER!

We look forward to having our families with us in Jamaica to share this amazing day. For those who will not be in Jamaica, we have planned to have a reception back home so we can share this special event with everyone we love. We would like to just make sure we ackowledge our parents to thank them for shaping us into the people we are today.
