1. What form of ID do I need to travel?
A US. passport is required to travel . It's a international destination wedding.
2. How do i obtain a US. passport?
Inquire @ your nearest post office or you can go online to usps.com to the passport section and make an appointment that includes passport photo. Be advised you need to bring your original birth certificate with raised seal .No copies will be accepted. Birth certificate will be taken and processed with application and mail back to you via certified mail. This process takes about 6-8 weeks
3. Do I have to stay on the resort and if so do i have to stay a certain amount of days?
No, you do not have to stay on the resort,and yes the minimum amount of nights to stay are 3 nights. Be advised that you will incur mandatory fees if you do not stay on the resort. Any guest traveling with children who's staying off resort will have to pay a mandatory fee of $150 per child and $310 per adult. Guest with children staying off resort will only be allowed onto resort 1/2 hr prior to ceremony and 1 hr for adults. You will also responsible for your own transportation fees if you stay at another resort.
4. Will their be transportation to/from the airport/hotel?
Yes, if you are staying at the resort where wedding is held transportation will be provided. You will be on the Hickman's Wedding Guest List.
5. Is their a dress code for the wedding?
Yes, business casual. Be advised photos with be taken so dress to impress!
6. Is their a dress code on the resort?
During the evening some specialty restaurant require collared shirts for men and casual shorts or pants, no tank tops or spaghetti straps tops for women.
7. Do I need to pay for food and drinks on the resort?
Beaches Turks & Caicos is a 5 star all- inclusive resort Food and drinks are unlimited throughout your stay.
8. Whats the weather like in Turks & Caicos?
In July during the day it will be in the high 80's low 90's. As the sun sets there may be a cool breeze.
9. Are there excursions included?
You will need to go the activities desk and scheduled activities off the resort. (i.e.) scuba diving,tours of island, horseback riding etc.
10. When should I book? What if i cant afford to pay for my vacation in lump?
You should book as soon a possible as prices do go up as the date gets closer. Be advised airfare isn't availabe at this time because its too early, so you will only be booked for lodging. You are responsible as time gets closer to book your airfare. It's fine if you do not have funds @ this time to pay in full. You will be able to book with a minimum fee to hold reservation and you'll be able to pay off @ your leisure, but your booking must be paid in full a month before the wedding.
11. Are there covid restrictions?
No, but you may still wear a mask if it makes you comfortable
12. When can I book airfare?
Airfare for these dates aren't available until August, remember the sooner you book the cheaper the ticket.
13. How do I book my vacation?
You have options. You can book on www.beaches.com using our Group Code or speak our Wedding Coordinator Kara. Do not book w/o our group code as you will not be under our planning.
