FAQs
1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
We would like for our guest to wear semi-formal/ cocktail attire. The ceremony, cocktail and reception will be outside. So, please wear light, breathable fabrics for weather purposes.
2. What will the weather be like this time of year?
Generally, October in Turks And Caicos will be really nice. Historical data shows that you can expect an average temperature of around 82°F / 28°C. But due to the moderate humidity it can feel slightly uncomfortable for some. During the night, it will cool down to around 80°F / 27°C.
3. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Outdoors, of course! We planned this destination wedding for the scenery. We want you guys to enjoy the views just as much as us. The ceremony will be on the beachfront with a nice sunset and the reception on the lawn.
4. Are kids welcome?
Beaches is a family-friendly resort. If you are bringing kids please let us know because this goes into our budget. We can try to see what we can do to accomadate. But please notify in advance.
5.Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
6.Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?
Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary but are appreciated! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry you will find some items you can ship to our address or ways to donate to our honeymoon.
7.Where are you registered?
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. A link to our wedding registry can be found here.
