FAQs
Is there a dress code?
Formal (optional): Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. Feel free to get creative with your formal attire. We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to dress up and enjoy an evening in paradise! Note: NO WHITE ATTIRE.
Are children welcome to attend the ceremony/reception?
Children are absolutely welcome to attend the ceremony and join the group for dinner following the ceremony. However, as the night progresses the envoirnment may not be suitable for younger children as there will be adults drinking and innappropiate music, dance, etc. If you plan on bringing your children on vacation, PLEASE ENSURE THAT CHILDCARE ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE FOR THE NIGHT OF THE WEDDING. Note: We may be able to help arrange childcare through our immediate family (older children, parents and grandparents).
Can I stay at another resort but still attend the wedding on a day pass?
We understand that for many of you it may be more affordable and/or convenient to book your accommodations at another resort (better deals, etc.). However, as a result of the 50/50 ratio rule at Beaches, Ocho Rios, the number of "Day Pass" guests we can have attend our wedding is extremely limited. Note: As most of you are aware, the Groom is originally from Jamaica, and the majority of his family members are limited to the day pass option. We'd like to keep this option available to them and can only do so with your support.
We kindly ask, that unless you own a property on the island (as a few of you do) and dont require accommodations at any resort, you do book with Beaches, Ocho Rios. This not only helps us, but also guanentees you access to the resort on the day of our wedding.
We apoligize for any inconvience this may cause and thank you for your love and support!
