Greetings friends and family!
We have chosen Jan Mauer, owner of Exciting Vacations, LLC, to assist with your travel arrangements to our wedding at the lovely Beaches Resort in Negril, Jamaica in June, 2015.
1. Booking with Jan will make our wedding planning (and life) much easier! We’ve asked Jan to help us coordinate our travel plans, and yours, to make the travel planning process easier for everyone. If you need any help whatsoever, Jan is only a phone call or email away. You will have only one person handling your reservations and she will know all of the details of our wedding, so she can help you make the best travel decisions. As we get closer to travel, she will send important information about the area, travel reminders, wedding itinerary and much more.
2. Jan’s job includes coordinating our guest list with the wedding coordinator and reservations manager. This includes handling all special requests (room and bedding assignments, upgrade requests, etc.). Due to liability and security issues, you must book with Exciting Vacations in order for Jan to include your name on the guest lists she sends to the resort.
3. Jan will provide you with the lowest rate possible at the time of your request. Once you are booked, if the hotel rate should go down even lower, Jan will contact the resort, and re-price your reservations, upon approval from the resort. This applies to the resort rate only – airfare cannot be changed once booked.
4. Most online travel agencies require full payment upfront at the time of purchase. With Exciting Vacations, you can reserve your hotel room for only $200.00 per person or $400.00 per room ~ based on 2 guests sharing one room (flights must be paid in full at time of purchase). Your balance isn’t due until 60 days prior to your departure date.
5. Jan's vacation packages include transportation to and from your resort by licensed, bonded, and safe tour operators in Jamaica. It’s very important that you have transfers included in your package. With pre-arranged transfers, your driver will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your resort. A taxi ride would cost much more, not to mention the inconvenience of finding someone reputable to help you.
When booking your trip to our wedding, the price will include a) round trip airfare, b) round trip transportation from the Montego Bay, Jamaica airport to the resort – Beaches in Negril. The transfer ride is approximately one and half hours.
Currently (September, 2014) for travel in late June, 2015, the most economical room category at Beaches Negril is the Negril Premium King (one King Bed) and Negril Premium Double (two Double beds).
PLEASE NOTE: Availability of rooms changes constantly and we can only reserve what is available at the time of booking. Therefore, we suggest you call Jan Mauer as soon as possible for the best availability.
REGARDING FLIGHTS: Currently (September, 2014) for travel in late June, 2015, Delta Airlines flies Non-Stop from JFK to Montego Bay, Jamaica. U.S. Airways flies NON-stop from Philadelphia to Montego Bay, Jamaica. United Airlines flies from Newark to Montego Bay, Jamaica – but it is a connecting flight. United Airlines is not offering a NON-stop flight at this time for travel in late June, 2015.

Below are 2 scenarios to consider:
4 nights checking into Beaches Negril departing JFK Airport to Montego Bay, Jamaica on Friday, June 26, 2015 returning on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Currently this price is $2130.60 per person based on two guests sharing one room.
7 nights departing JFK Airport to Montego Bay, Jamaica on Friday, June 26, 2015 returning on Friday, July 3, 2015. Currently this price is $3199.80 per person based on two guests sharing one room.
PLEASE NOTE: Airfare changes frequently and is subject to change until purchased. Once purchased, airfare is NON-refundable and NON-transferable. Also - airlines only sell a certain number of seats at each fare level. Once that number of seats has been sold, the next seat on that specific flight is at the higher fare level.
Each person traveling to Jamaica is required to have a current and valid passport. Your passport expiration date must be AT LEAST 6 months AFTER your return travel date.
Because your name on your airline reservation must exactly match your passport (TSA rules), we will need a copy of your passport for each guest. You can scan and email it to Jan@excitingvacations.net OR you can fax it to her office at 732-613-3897.
