We had friends and family come over to celebrate on New Years Eve, and we had made a huge feast! It was great to have friends and family stop by and catch up.  We both love cooking for our loved ones and having people visit. The beat part of hosting is being able to stay in and not drive. This also allowed us to relax later on while the ball dropped. Adam and I sat on the couch together, snuggled up with a glass of champagne. We were watching people on TV discuss resolutions. Before I knew it Adam was on one knee with a ring! He not only asked to me to marry him, but he shared all these qualities about our relationship, and how we would work together to build a future. It was perfectly us, and a private moment I will always cherish.
